Have managed just under 800km, just by my usual commute and a couple of extended ones bagging some veloviewer tiles.
Earlier on in the month I took the wheels off the Pompino frame to see if they would fit on the Dawes Shadow that I got from York Rally last year.
I wasnt sure if the brakes would work on 700c wheels as the old wheels were 27 x 1" 1/4.
After replacing and adjusting the blocks it worked a treat and I fitted the mudguards, seat, levers and bartape off the Pomp.
The Dawes frame being an old 23" fits me way better than the Pompino did and it is actually quite comfortable to ride.
So much so that most of my km's this month have been on that one and I've hardly ridden the recumbent.
Now I've ridden it for a month and like the fit I need to tidy it up a bit.
New bar tape, properly fit rear mudguard and change the crankset. Work in process.
I also managed to get £55 for the Pomp frame 👍
